There is no such thing as a silly question!
What does a Professional Organiser do?
My role is to help reduce the stress, anxiety and overwhelm in your home by creating order and flow. What does that mean? It means that I will help you declutter the areas of your home that are a little out of control and make your house work for you not against you. I will create systems that are easy to use and maintain so you feel better able to relax in your home.
How does it work?
All our services are bespoke and tailored to your needs and home. We'll start with a free, no obligation discovery call at a time to suit you and take it from there.
What rooms can you help with?
From kitchen to playrooms, offices to garages, there is no room in your home too big or too small. Where you see clutter, and feel overwhelm, I see an opportunity to restore calm, order and give you back your time, energy and mental clarity!
Will you make me get rid of all my stuff?
Absolutely not! It will be entirely your decision whether you decide to part with the items we uncover. However, I will ask you to consider whether items are meaningful to you or contributing to clutter. The remaining items will be organised in to systems that work for you and your home.
What areas do you work in?
I support families on their decluttering journey throughout Essex. All travel within 15 miles of Rayleigh are included in session prices.
Travel outside of this area incurs a time and mileage cost which is added to your invoice.
Do I need to buy storage before you come?
No, and in fact I recommend delaying purchasing any storage until we have decluttered the space. This way you will know what remains to be organised.
I carry an inventory of storage items that you can choose from or you are welcome to buy your own items after the session.
Where possible I will also repurpose items that you have available to use at home.
What will happen to the things I no longer need?
I am passionate about sustainability, so where possible I will encourage you to pass on or recycle as many items as possible. I am aware of local charities that accept some of the items you might no longer have use for. I am also happy to take items to the charity shop for you.
Where items cannot be passed on we will consider whether they can go in your kerbside waste or whether you will need to book a trip to the recycling centre.
