Declutter Together

Award-winning, nervous system-led support for the woman who needs to feel held before she can start sorting

Ever tidied the house before someone popped round, then felt your stomach drop when they asked to see upstairs?

Ever stood in front of the same pile for weeks, knowing exactly what's in it, and still not been able to touch it?

Here's the thing.

Somewhere along the way, you decided you should have been able to manage this on your own.

That your friends would have it sorted in an afternoon, and that something must be wrong with you because you can't.

Let's just pause there. Needing support with this isn't a sign that something's wrong.

It's a sign that you've been carrying a lot, probably for a long time, and mostly by yourself.

Maybe you've tried.

Systems that looked gorgeous for a fortnight.

Support from someone kind, but who brought a lifetime of history into the room.

An organiser who talked about baskets, when what you needed was for someone to ask what's really been going on.

It didn't stick. Of course it didn't. Because it was never just about the stuff.

I'd love to be the person who sits beside you while we work it out, and who stays beside you for as long as you need.

So what is
Declutter Together?

Declutter Together is support that comes to your home, sits beside you, and stays with you for as long as you need it.

It's an award-winning approach for one simple reason: we start with you, not the stuff.

When you're overwhelmed, your body goes into protection mode, and that's exactly when decisions feel impossible. So before we sort a single thing, we slow down. We talk and we help your nervous system feel safe enough to begin.

Then, when you're ready, we begin to declutter and organise together, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

No judgement or rushing, and letting go of only what you are ready to (with a little gentle challenge where needed).

Whether you book a single session or build a few together, you'll be looked after from your very first call to your last day with me.

Less pressure - less shame

More breathing space and most importantly, someone in your corner cheering you on!

Imagine...

  • Imagine someone standing in your home who isn't shocked by it

  • Imagine saying the hard thing out loud, and having someone who understands completely

  • Imagine looking at a room and knowing exactly where to start, because someone has made it feel manageable

  • Imagine finishing the day knowing where everything lives, in a way that actually suits your brain

  • Imagine slipping into bed that night, tired in the good way, with a weight lifted

  • Imagine knowing someone is in your corner, not just for a day, but for the whole way through

That's what Declutter Together is for

What a session looks like:

01 - Breathe

We create space to pause, take a breath and begin without pressure or the expectation to do everything at once

02 - Review

We talk about what's been working and what hasn't, how you're feeling and your goals for the session

03 - Edit

We work through your belongings together, making decisions that reflect your needs, priorities and what matters to you

04 - Adapt

We find approaches and organising systems that work with your brain, your circumstances and the way you live

05 - Transform

We turn those decisions into practical changes that make your home easier to use and manage

06 - Honour

At the end of the session we will pause to recognise your progress, check in with how you're feeling and consider what you need before moving forward

07 - Embed

Before I leave, we talk about next steps, ways to maintain the space and how best to use your space beyond our session

What's included?

Support from your first call

A relaxed 15 to 20 minute chat, usually on Zoom, so we

can e-meet before I ever step through your door.

We talk lightly about your journey, what has and hasn't worked before, and what level of support feels right for you. It's a great way for us to get to know each other first.

Time to share your story

Every session begins with a cup of tea and space for your story, because feeling seen comes first.

Everything else follows.

Nervous system-led, trauma-informed care

My award-winning approach is built on nervous system regulation. If something comes up (and sometimes it does), I'm right there to help you work through it, not push past it.

Support that works with your brain

If your neurodiversity means your home feels like it often works against you, get ready for that to change. As an ADHD trained organiser, I'm here to make sure your home works with the way your mind works.

We'll also work with your energy levels, leaning in to hyperfocus but also taking breaks where necessary.

Practical help that goes the extra mile

I take up to a carload of charity items away with me, or arrange a collection, so you're never left with bags in the hallway at the end of the day.

Care from start to finish

From your first message to your final session, you'll be treated with the care you deserve. Nothing rushed, nothing judged and everything built around you.

Ways people use Declutter Together

Some women arrive with a story that needs to be heard. Others arrive in the middle of a big moment in life.

Often, it's both.

  • You're fed up with your home feeling overwhelming or out of control

  • You've experience a bereavement and your loved one's belongings that are too hard to face alone

  • Unpacking after a house move, or getting ready to move

  • Settling in a new baby

  • Paperwork that has quietly taken over

  • A wardrobe edit

  • The spare room you don't open the door to anymore

Whatever brings you here, you'll be met with care

Becci - Westcliff

Working with Suz was just fantastic - after two days I felt that I had learnt precious life skills on how to approach clutter in my house.
I went from a very full house to a much more streamlined version within a couple of months and still use Suz's methods to get back on track when life gets a bit crazy!
Suz asked such helpful questions when I was dithering and couldn't decide what to do with certain items (at this point on my own I would have given up altogether)
and then helped me decide how I was going to get it out of the house!
